“…and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” — Ephesians 6:17

A church built on the spoken Word of God.

We meet every Sunday in Meidling to hear the Word, pray together, and carry the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to Austria and beyond.

Who we are

Rhema of God Church is built on the Word of God. Rhema is the Word spoken — living, present, and addressed to you today. That is what we gather around every week.

Our calling is to bring the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to everyone in Austria and beyond, so that people come to know the life God has already given them. It is fuller and freer than they have imagined.

We are the expression of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Whoever you are, wherever you have come from, there is a place for you here.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. JEREMIAH 29:11

I am come that they might have life.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

JOHN 10:10

Our connection

We are connected to our Man of God, Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy, through the International School of Ministry.

We share his vision of reaching the last man with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in this end-time race. We carry it out through the Healing Streams Live Healing Services, the Rhapsody of Realities daily devotional, and ReachOut World — on the streets of Vienna, week after week.

Out on the streets of Vienna

Most of what we do happens outside the building — a flyer, a conversation, an invitation to be prayed for.

Young people on park benches in Vienna holding Healing Streams invitation flyers — A park bench, an afternoon, an invitation.

Four women holding Heilung für die Nationen invitations at Stephansplatz — Stephansplatz — “Heilung für die Nationen”.

Five members of Rhema of God Church holding invitation flyers on Kärntner Straße in central Vienna — Kärntner Straße, on a cold morning.

A church member in conversation with a passer-by on a Vienna shopping street — One conversation at a time.

Two church members and a man holding Healing Streams flyers at Karlsplatz station — Karlsplatz station.

A church member offering a Healing Streams invitation to a man in a wheelchair on a Vienna street — No one is walked past.
